Coffs juniors simply the best

THE Coffs Harbour Suns Junior representative teams travelled to Tamworth last weekend for a round of division 1 competition with results showing the ever-strong team in devastating form.

Playing 24 games over the weekend in a variety of age divisions, the Suns returned home with 20 wins and just four losses.

The strength of the Coffs association at the moment is such that many of the second teams are playing in the division 1 competition while other teams are playing up one whole age division to play against teams that are of a similar standard.

The latest Northern Junior League pointscore shows Coffs Harbour Suns teams leading in six divisions and running second in another four midway through the competition and with some divisions still yet to play an equal number of games.

• Read the Junior Sport section in tomorrow's Coffs Coast Advocate for full reports from the teams that competed in Tamworth.
