Young magician proving he's got more than enough talent

COFFS Harbour's own pint-sized magician has been selected for the next stage of Australia's Got Talent auditions.

Magic Jake first auditioned for the show at the Coffs Harbour's Opal Cove Resort event in March.

Now he's headed for Brisbane to show the judges more of the magic that impressed them first time round.

Although only 12, he's no stranger to big stages having competed at the National Street Entertainment Championship in Surfers Paradise where he was required to perform two shows a day recently.

His skill level is constantly increasing as he researches new tricks and adds his trademark touch of comedy to existing illusions.

He's performed at many events around the Coffs Coast including Woolgoolga Curryfest and will soon take the stage at Sawtell's Chilli Festival.

On Sunday night at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre he will attempt to impress Australia's Got Talent's new lineup of judges Timomatic, Gerri Halliwell and Dawn French.

Good luck Jake!
