Coffs Harbour profiled as council elections loom

COFFS Harbour City Council is the first of the 81 local council areas profiled by the NSW Electoral Commission in the lead up to the Local Government election on September 10.

There is no absent voting so you must vote at a polling place or pre-poll venue issuing votes for your local council or ward.

Bonville Hall is among a number of polling places across the Coffs Coast.

It is compulsory for Australian citizens over the age of 18 to enrol and vote. The penalty for not voting is $55.
