Coffs dr takes to world stage

COFFS Harbour cancer surgeon Dr Ned Abraham will be on the world stage at the end of this month.

Dr Abraham, a Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the Coffs Harbour Campus of the Faculty of Medicine, University of NSW, will be presenting an oral presentation entitled 'We Don't Need Randomised Trials to Assess Cancer Surgical Procedures'.

“It's based on my PhD,” Dr Abraham said.

Dr Abraham will be among 10 speakers on Tuesday June 23 at the BIT Life Science's Second Annual World Cancer Congress in Beijing.

“I'm the only surgeon from Australia to be in the colorectal section,” Dr Abraham said.

“I feel really, really privileged,” he said.

Dr Abraham said that his invitation to speak is really great for the Coffs Harbour Health Campus and the UNSW School of Rural Medicine campus in Coffs Harbour.
