Coffs couple's new lifetime 'Endeavour'

FOR Jenny Cooper and Anthony Cheyne, walking down the aisle on their wedding day was all part of the plan.

Almost. 'Walking the plank' was an unexpected surprise.

The Endeavour – a floating museum and working ship that's part of the outreach program of the National Maritime Museum – may have sailed into Coffs Harbour as part of a well-charted tourism course; but Jenny and Anthony, along with wedding photographer MichaelGreen took the 'happy snap onboard' idea one step further when they posed on deck for their wedding photographs.

The staff of Endeavour gave the newlyweds the royal treatment and welcomed the impromptu visit that included photographs and receiving well wishes from onlookers.

Jenny and Anthony returned to land to celebrate their big day with a reception at Aanuka Beach Resort for family and friends.

The happy couple are currently enjoying a honeymoon in Cairns, while a group of Coffs Coast sailors will leave with the Endeavour when she sails south on her five day voyage to Port Macquarie.
