HOLY mackerel may continue to be the call this weekend during the Easter Fishing Classic.

The boats landed some good catches yesterday and will be on the water again today and tomorrow.

A massive family fun day is planned at the Coffs Harbour Deep Sea Fishing Club tomorrow from 10am.

The Smiley's will perform until noon, there'll be a wipeout, waterslide, jumping castles and a mechanical surfboard, camel rides, easter egg hunt, face painting and airbrush tattooing.

"It's going to be a family fun day which will have a great atmosphere with music on the deck as well as plenty of activities for the kids," said Coffs Harbour Deep Sea Fishing Club general manager Carl Mower.

The band Totum will entertain from 1pm to 4pm while the charity fish auction to benefit Marine Rescue Coffs Harbour will see fresh fish go under the hammer at the club at 1pm.
