ACCUSED drug smuggler Cassie Sainsbury is set to break her silence in a tell-all interview from inside her Colombian jail cell.
The 22-year-old will explain the events leading up to the moment police found 5.8kg of cocaine hidden in her luggage at Bogota's El Dorado International Airport in April.
A sneak peek clip of next week's 60 Minutes interview shows journalist Liam Bartlett inside El Buen Pastor women's prison quizzing the Adelaide woman.
"We want to ask you some details of what happened," he says.
"We want people in Australia to hear your side of the story. Whose idea was it? Whose idea was it to make a quick dollar out of carrying cocaine? How did you get here, who talked you into it?"
Sainsbury has been behind bars since her arrest on April 11 when Colombian narcotics police found cocaine inside 18 headphone cases in her luggage.
She was on her way to the United Kingdom when she was prevented from boarding. At first she claimed she bought the headphones as gifts for her bridal party.
Some members of her family later alleged a Colombian drug cartel threatened her so she would smuggle the drugs for them.
The former personal trainer, dubbed "Cocaine Cassie", faces 30 years in jail.
The interview airs on September 24 at 8.30pm on Channel 9.
