Woman speechless after act of kindness by 'angel'
A WOMAN has been left in tears at a Coast supermarket after a stranger's a random act of kindness left her speechless.
Linda Sheehan was shopping at Nambour Coles last night when a woman she described as her "real life guardian angel" stepped in to help her.
"My groceries had just been rung up at the till, and I tapped my credit card only to find that I had insufficient funds," she said.
"I got the checkout guy to do a return on some items and then tapped my card again only to have the same response."
In an online post that has since gone viral, Linda said she found the ordeal was embarrassing and upset - until a woman known only as Emma stepped in.
"Then my angel, Emma, who I had never met before, said she would pay for my groceries," Linda said.

The kind stranger insisted, and handed her car to the checkout operator to pay.
"I have never had such a beautiful gesture from someone I didn't know," Linda said online.
"I gave her a big hug and thanked her through my tears. Emma, you don't know how you have affected me."
The true identity of Emma the "guardian angel" is yet to be revealed, but Linda promised she would do the same for someone else one day.
"Your kindness has touched me so much," she said.
"I will never forget you. I will pay this forward! Thank you once again Emma, my real life angel!"
