Christmas festivities begin

THE silly season for Coffs Coast adults officially kicks off this Friday evening.

The annual Promenade Christmas Party has long signalled the start of the festive season and has become one of the city's premier social events.

Hosted by Promenade retailers but run as a charity fundraiser by the the hard-working members of the Titivators breast cancer support group, the party features tasty treats, drinks, fireworks and plenty of entertainment.

Tickets at $45 a head, which includes food, wine and beer, were available from all Promenade shops and outlets. Party from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.
