Chilean coast struck by 6.2 earthquake

THE US Geological Survey reports a magnitude 6.2 earthquake has struck off the coast of Chile.

The quake's epicentre was 140km southwest of Antofagasta and located 32km below the seabed, the USGS said.

There have been no reports of damage.
