The bodies of the man and baby were found early this morning in a car off Roys Rd by council workers who immediately contacted police.
Det Insp Drinnen said the child was reported missing on Monday to Moreton Police after the Redcliffe father failed to "turn up on custody arrangements".

Det Insp Drinnen said there was prior domestic violence instances reported between the man and woman who were in a relationship but had separated.
He was unaware if the couple had any other children together.
