Charlie doubles up at titles

REVERED Woolgoolga boardrider Charlie O'Sullivan generally manages to capture a championship every year but in 2018 he's made it a double.

Taking his stick into the waters at Port Stephens for the NSW Longboard titles, Charlie was chaired from the beach after winning both the over-50 and over-55's divisions.

In the younger contest he edged out JP Willis from Moonee Beach with local surfers filling plenty of placings during the tournament.

John Murray (Sawtell), Mark Ingleby (Emerald Beach), Earle Page (Arrawarra) and Phillip Clifford (Scotts Head) were all called up to the podium to receive honours..
