Charity has a huge day as memorabilia is auctioned
A PRIZED pack of NRL memorabilia has helped boost the coffers of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
A signed Blues State of Origin jersey, modelled by the mayor, Cr Denise Knight, was sold for $2000 on Saturday at a monster farm and saddlery auction run by Eliza Robinson of Robinson Livestock.
Signed Broncos and Legends of League jerseys, as well as a Parramatta Eels training pack, sourced by former Origin player Stuart Kelly, were also sold under the hammer for $1500, also to support the children's charity. The auction itself drew hundreds of bidders.
The were also bargain hunters and plenty of onlookers attracted to Coramaba.
The day's top price was $18,000 for a tractor.
