Charges after Woolgoolga teen approached

A WOOLGOOLGA man will face court after allegedly intimidating a teenager to enter his vehicle.

About 10.40am on Friday June 27, Woolgoolga police were told an adult man had approached a 15-year-old on Pollack Espl and allegedly requested the child to enter his vehicle.

The following day, a Woolgoolga man, 30, was arrested by local police and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged with intimidation and will face Coffs Harbour Local Court on August 5.

The incident has again prompted police to encourage parents to discuss the Safe People, Safe Places messages with their children.
