C.ex Group staff give it their all

STAFF at C.ex Coffs Harbour have rolled up their sleeves in a ‘random act of kindness’.

To coincide with Random Act of Kindness Day staff headed to Homebase on Wednesday to help replenish the reserves of the Blood Bank.

Club patrons were also included in the initiative yesterday, randomly being presented with ‘smiley face’ stickers by staff in a bid to brighten their days.

C.ex Group marketing manager Sam Wardman said the effort worked a treat.

“The day is all about doing something you normally might not do like helping someone elderly to cross the street, holding open a door for a stranger, paying a compliment to someone, and smiling all day at everyone you meet,” Ms Wardman said.

“From the club’s perspective it certainly was mission accomplished.”
