Harmony Day celebrates culture

THE community is invited to join Southern Cross University staff and students for Harmony Day.

The annual cross-cultural celebration will be held on Monday at the Hogbin Drive campus.

SCU’s Equity and Diversity manager Rachel Callahan said Harmony Day was aimed at getting people from all cultures involved and encouraging respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

The theme this year is ‘express yourself’ and the campus community is looking forward to sharing the importance of cultural diversity through art and food.

There will be a Burmese photographic display and international food on March 21.
