Cats coach concedes Dangerfield in doubt
AUSSIE RULES: Geelong coach Chris Scott has confirmed Patrick Dangerfield will travel with the Cats to Adelaide but he's no certainty to play against the Crows on Friday night.
The call is likely to be made on the day of the game after a "decent" test on his injured foot.
Dangerfield was still wearing a moon boot on Wednesday after injuring his foot against Hawthorn on Saturday.
But when pressed on how likely Dangerfield was to play in percentage terms Scott conceded he was only a 40 per cent chance.
After being a late withdrawal last week Scott Selwood is expected to return for the Cats and Tom Stewart will also play, wearing a helmet to protect his fractured eye socket.
"We'll play Tom Stewart. There's no reason at all why he shouldn't play," Scott said.
"Nakia Cockatoo is close but not close enough to play this week. We've taken a much more conservative approach with him. We're just not prepared to risk the possibility that Cockatoo becomes a young player with a significant hamstring history.
"You can assume Andrew Mackie will be back in as well."
