1. McAleese decision due today
AN AGREEMENT on whether McAleese will keep trading is expected to be made today.
McAleese is still in a voluntary suspension from trading on the stock exchange but expects that to send soon.
2. Fatal truck rollover on Bruce Highway on-ramp
IN what was a very sad morning for trucking, a B-Double has overturned on the Bruce Highway on-ramp at North Lakes, leaving one man dead and lane closures for commuters.
Emergency services were called to the on-ramp at 2.30am following reports a semi-trailer had rolled.
3. Who the heck will we vote for?
WITH some 56 parties registered for the coming Federal Election the question of who to vote for just got harder.
Parties you can vote for on July 2 include the majors: The Australian Labor Party, Liberal Party of Australia, National Party of Australia and Australian Greens. But this election there’s also 22 first time registered parties.
For every party it seems there’s an equal and opposite one.
