Carols on the Coffs Coast

JINGLE Bells, Little Town of Bethlehem, Silent Night or Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, the best place to hear your favourite carol is at a local carols event.

Carols on the Green is on December 15 at Boambee East Community Centre, Bruce King Dr, presented by the centre and Salvos. Santa visit, sausage sizzle and kids’ entertainment at 6pm, with the main event at 6.45pm. Bring a chair and your best singing voice.

Sawtell Carols by Candlelight, hosted by Sawtell Uniting Church and Sawtell Golf Club, is on the 18th fairway from 6pm on December 17. Santa arrives 7.15pm to start the carols. Bring a blanket, chair and picnic or purchase food and drink from the club. Parking on Sawtell Oval, Bayldon Rd.

Get along to Sandy Beach Reserve on December 20. The fun event starts at 6pm with a barbecue and kids’ entertainment, with carols to follow at 7.30pm. For details, phone Sandy Beach Baptist Church on 66540708.

Carols by the Rivers in Urunga starts 5pm on December 19 at Morgo Reserve. An evening of song, entertainment, food, fireworks and family fun. Sausage sizzle plus food and drink stalls. Santa will visit. Bring a chair or rug.
