Carly receives Orara High memorial award

LATE Orara High School principal, Graham Mosey, was honoured with the introduction of the “Graham Mosey Memorial Citizenship Award” at the recent Orara High School Year 12 Final Assembly.

Carly Drum was overwhelmed to recieve the award.

Carly embodies the true meaning of citizenship and has always been a great ambassador for Orara High School.

She has represented the school at Anzac Day Ceremonies and on many other official occasions with dignity and confidence and has led the student body and the SRC with maturity and a caring sense of responsibility.

Carly has also led the school through difficult times in a supportive and positive manner. She quietly delivered flowers to Mr Mosey on behalf of the student body at a time when it was truly needed.

For promoting the spirit of Orara High School within the community in a positive way she thoroughly deserved this award. The Award was presented to Carly by Mrs Belinda Mosey, (who is also an English Teacher at Orara) wife of Mr Mosey.
