Car plows into Korora bedroom

WHEN you go to bed at night, one of the last things you think could wake you up with a start is a car coming through the bedroom wall.

But that was just the situation for one couple as they were happily dozing on Wednesday night in Korora.

At about 11pm,  a learner driver was pulling into a Laurel St driveway before suddenly losing control and taking off through the fence and into the house next door.

The mature-age couple was in Korora visiting family but this is one trip they won't be forgetting.

The Toyota Kluger showered the bedroom with bricks but luckily the couple escaped any major injuries, although they were taken to hospital for precautionary observation.
