Car crashes into house: Toormina

TWO elderly women were left shaken, but uninjured, after the car they were travelling in crashed into a house at Toormina this morning.

Emergency Services responded to a 000 call around 11.30am.

Police arrived on scene and found the sedan had crashed into the brick wall supporting the garage roof.

Ambulance paramedics treated the driver and her passenger for shock.

A NSW Fire and Rescue crew and State Emergency Service volunteers stabilised the roof of the garage before the vehicle was extracted and towed.

The structural damage to the house will be assessed later today, police said.
