Car and truck crash: Halfway Creek

EMERGENCY services this afternoon responded to a crash involving a car and truck near Halfway Creek.

The accident happened on the Pacific Highway outside the Halfway Creek service station near the intersection of Lemon Tree Rd just after 4pm.

Ambulance media said paramedics remained on scene at 5pm treating a female, male and two children, who suffered minor injuries.

The truck driver declined treatment and it was not expected that any of the patients would require hospitalisation.

Roads and Maritime Services advised that the south-bound lane of the highway was blocked to traffic for just over an hour, as police alternated vehicles around the scene through the north-bound lane.
