Buskers festival poised and ready to go

ONE more sleep . . .

Tomorrow night marks the beginning of eight days of non-stop action, as the 2008 Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival kicks into gear.

And one performer you won't want to miss during the festival is the cheeky Irishman Patrick McCullagh, the only act from 2007 to be asked back.

Patrick, a comedian/magician/escape artist is a born entertainer, originally from Northern Ireland. He has many bows to his string but specialises in magic and comedy.

What makes Patrick special is his authentic outlook on life and his passion to use his talent to make a difference and leave his audiences with lasting happy memories.

Having performed in The USA Magic Castle, Hollywood, New York, Miami, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand and all over Australia being nominated for the MO Award for Australia's Best Variety Act, Patrick knows how to please an audience.

Patrick will be hosting the sold-out Gala Premiere Dinner Show at the Coffs Ex-Services Club tomorrow night; but never fear, if you don't have your ticket, there's still plenty of opportunity to catch him during the festival.

He will MC the night shows at the Pier Hotel Tuesday and Thursday, and will be at the Coffs Catholic Club on Wednesday, October 1. He will also be at the Botanic Gardens Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4.
