Bus to Sydney for land rally

LAND owners on the Coffs Coast are invited to join a bus trip to Sydney on Wednesday to attend the Sydney Rally organised by the Property Rights Support Group.

The group, which has 20 chapters in regional NSW, is fighting for land rights for farmers.

Coffs Harbour organiser Jeanette Jones said the Sydney rally was designed to voice people’s outrage at the impact of recent NSW native vegetation laws and regulations on farmers and the loss of their use of their land.

She said the problem also affected hobby farmers and owners of suburban blocks.

Interested people should be prepared to leave from Coffs Harbour at Brodie Drive, at 12.15am on Wednesday morning, February 24, and were expected to be back in the city by 10-11pm. The bus trip will cost $55 return.

There would also be pick-ups at Macksville and Kempsey.
