Bulletproof blankets for kids launched
OF course Americans would invent this.
With mass shootings a consistent and terrifying issue in the United States but reform firmly in the too-hard basket for its Congress, a new invention offers a surprising solution.
Parents can now buy bulletproof blankets for almost $1000 that will protect their kids.
Left-wing news outlet Mother Jones is reporting the "Bodyguard Blanket" was developed by Steve Walker, the father of two students, after he was shocked by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that left 20 children and six adults dead.
"We wanted our children to have a layer of protection immediately," Mr Walker said.
The creator claims it will protect children and adult against "90% of all weapons that have been used in school shootings in the United States".
