It's time to celebrate all things brilliant about books and highlight the fun and importance of reading. For the past sixty-five years the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has recognised the literary and artistic skills of Australian authors and illustrators in their annual Book Week Awards. Schools and libraries all over Australia will be providing a guide to some of the best books and doing activities based on the theme One World Many Stories during the week August 20 to 26. We also talk to Tristan Bancks, one of Australia's talented writers, about what it takes to write a book.
