Man hospitalised after Grafton bridge crash
UPDATE, 5PM: A MALE has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a head-on collision on the Grafton Bridge.
Police said the crash happened just after 3.30pm, and on Facebook it was reported one of the vehicles was a truck.
An investigation is continuing into the cause of the crash.
EARLIER: TRAFFIC is starting to flow again after a head-on crash on the Grafton bridge caused long delays in both directions.
Cars were queued up for hundreds of metres at what is normally one of the busiest times of the day on the bridge.
We will update the story as soon as we get more details.
It is not the first time traffic has been brought to a standstill due to a crash on the often congested Grafton bridge. The Daily Examiner's Bill North was on the scene on a busy Saturday morning in July, 2014 after a single vehicle accident brought commuters to a halt for about an hour.
