CRICKET: The Glen all-rounder Jason Seng has been called up to replace the injured Justin Dixon ahead of the Australian Country Cricket Championships in Geraldton, WA.

Seng will be a part of the Queensland Country side and joins The Glen team-mate Sam Lowry

Townsville's Dixon fractured his hand while he batted in a practice game which will need surgery in Perth this week.

Seng flies out of Gladstone tonight to join his Queensland team-mates in Geraldton tomorrow.

Queensland enjoyed a strong win in a practice match against University of Western Australia today and the team will play the ACA All-Stars in a T20 match tomorrow.

The Australian Country Cricket Championships starts this Sunday with Queensland Country to open its account against Victoria Country and finish on January 13 with the final.
