Brazen thief drives off in ute, camper trailer at Seaforth

A BRAZEN thief broke into a Seaforth home before driving off in the occupant’s ute and attached camper trailer yesterday.

Police said an unknown person had entered the property on Aviland Drive about 5.10am and taken car keys from the kitchen.

It is alleged the intruder used the keys to drive off in a silver 2006 Toyota HiLux dual cab with registration 947 MBD and attached Jayco Dove camper trailer.

About 7am on the same day, the stolen camper trailer was found abandoned on Maraju-Yakapari Road, The Leap.

It has since been towed and returned to the owner.
