Bray St lights the most annoying for Advocate readers

THEY mark the northern gateway to the city, and you find them your most annoying.

The Bray Street traffic lights have come out way in front in the Advocate's online survey of which of the city's 12 sets of traffic lights get your motor boiling over.

Of 176 responses, 56, or close to one in three people, indicated the Bray Street/Orlando Street lights were the most irksome.

So emphatic was the response for this intersection, it received more than twice the votes of the next most annoying set of lights: the ones for Halls Rd and Thompsons Rd.

Even though the newly installed traffic lights at Beryl St have only been operational for a few days, they still managed to receive more than 4% of the votes cast.
