Brand-new HomeBase

A NEW era is dawning for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service in Coffs Harbour and you’re invited to be part of the celebrations.

As of December 20 the Coffs Harbour Donor Centre will operate at HomeBase beside the cafe.

“We would like to thank all the blood donors who have come through our doors over the last decade and made a life-saving blood donation,” said community relations officer Carrie Skinner.

“On our last day of operating out of 72 Victoria Street we would like to invite the residents of Coffs Harbour to come down for breakfast and say farewell to our donor centre.

“Please join us for a free barbecue breakfast on December 17 from 7.30am to 9.30am.

“We also welcome anyone wishing to make one last historical donation. Appointments are available by calling 13 14 95 or just turn up on the day.

“We are open on this final Friday from 7.30am to noon.”

The opening hours for the new Coffs Harbour Blood Donor Centre will be Mondays and Tuesdays from 10.30am to 6.30pm, Wednesdays from 7.30am to 2.30pm, Thursdays from 10.30am to 6.30pm and Fridays from 7.30am to 12.30pm.

For more information and eligibility requirements, visit www.donateblood.com.au or make an appointment by calling 13 14 95.
