Boy, 11, killed in quad bike crash on rural property

POLICE are investigating after a young boy was killed in a quad bike crash on Sunday.

The boy, 11, died at the scene after the crash involving an all-terrain vehicle on a rural property at Moore, in the Somerset region, late yesterday afternoon.

Police were alerted to the incident about 5pm.

A Police Media spokeswoman told The Chronicle officers were "looking into the circumstances" of the fatal incident.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
