Boost your chances of getting a job this Friday

STAND out in your next job hunt with the help of the CTC Employment Services employment seminar.

CTC Employment Services manager Barb O'Hanlon said the seminar on Friday would provide assistance interested in being hired with Peanut Company, South Burnett Regional Council and CTC.

Ms O'Hanlon said the seminar would help with filling in job applications to enhance employment chances.

She said this was particularly beneficial for PCA applications.

"They get to complete a PCA application form, which needs to be supervised," she said.

Applicants will also be run through a literacy and numeracy test for PCA applications.

Ms O'Hanlon said other services would include matching applicants with relevant positions within CTC or temporary labour positions and finding applicable jobs within the three organisations.

The seminar will be held at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre on 6 Cornish St, Kingaroy on Friday from 1-3pm.

For more information, phone Barb O'Hanlon on 0428 875 725.
