Bonville climbs up Gold List
BONVILLE Golf Resort added yet another accolade to its list of impressive achievements.
The resort has just been recognised as one of Australia’s Best Golf Resorts for the second year running by Luxury Travel & Lifestyle magazine’s ‘Gold List’.
Bonville has been named as Australia’s second Best Golf Resort for its deluxe accommodation, fine dining, beauty, premium service and challenging golf course enjoyed by visitors to this iconic Coffs Harbour property – up from number four on last year’s list.
“This ranking reflects the ongoing improvements to both the property and the ‘Bonville Experience’,” general manager Brad Daymond said.
“In the last 12 months we have completed a refurbishment of our accommodation rooms, upgraded our Flooded Gums Restaurant, refurbished our Federation-style clubhouse and completed many golf course improvement works including our bunker replacement program.
“It is pleasing to note we were only one of a few to improve their rankings and that we are now the highest ranked golf resort in New South Wales.”
The Hyatt Regency Coolum in Queensland took out number one spot to be named Australia’s best and rounding out the top five were Cypress Lakes in the Hunter Valley, Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast and The Vines Resort in WA.
The Gold List Awards are now in its sixth year of surveying readers of Luxury Travel & Lifestyle magazine, for their favourite ski resorts, hotels, airlines, golf resorts, cruises, spas, and destinations nationally and internationally and are recognised as Australia’s Premier Luxury Travel Awards.
