Bondoola burn causing smoke haze

RESIDENTS in suburbs surrounding Bondoola are experiencing a smoke haze as Queensland Fire and Emergency Services finish conducting a hazard reduction burn in the area.

Motorists are reminded to drive to the conditions.

As hazard reduction burns continue, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are urging people to prepare now for the bushfire season.

This includes maintaining gardens, moving flammable materials away from houses and mowing the lawn regularly.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services also advise people to make a Bushfire Survival Plan.
