Bomb threat made to Coffs Harbour school

COFFS Harbour Public School is among multiple schools in Australia evacuated this morning after receiving a bomb threat.

A Department of Education spokesman said no students had been in danger.

"Police attended at each location and each school is taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of its students," the spokesman said.

"The Department of Education is working closely with NSW Police and concerned parents should contact their child's school."

The threat come after similar threats put several schools in Sydney into lock-down this week.

NSW Police said they were confident the calls came from overseas, and have been designed to cause significant disruption.
