Bold and bawdy but still brilliant

DURING the years the list of winning subjects reads like a who's who of the rich and famous.

Created in 1994 as a spoof of that more serious art competition, the Bald Archy prize is often described as the prize that laughs at art's lighter side.

Who will suffer the ire of the artist's brush in 2016? Any well-known character is a target and the portraits will surely range from hilarious to the bizarrely vulgar.

The Bald Archy Prize is coming to the Coffs Coast and The Bunker Cartoon Gallery is offering companies and organisations the opportunity to do something different and treat their clients to a private evening viewing of the Bald Archy Prize during the time of the exhibition.

Corporate packages include drinks and finger food and companies can also do their own presentation.

The Bald Archy Prize is the Bunker's most popular exhibition and will run from May 13 until June 12.

For more information or to book a private evening viewing contact Chris Barr at the Bunker Cartoon Gallery on 6651 7343.
