Body found in ruins of home
ONE person is dead and another still missing after two Sydney homes were gutted by fire on Friday.
In the early hours of the morning a body was found in the ruins of a burned down home in the Blue Mountains.
Fire investigators were sent to the scene.
Police could not confirm the victim's identity on Friday.
In Cronulla, a man was taken to hospital suffering smoke inhalation after fire tore through his beachside home.
At the time of going to press police were unable to confirm if the other person who lived in the home had been accounted for.
While investigators were yet to determine what sparked both blazes, it is believed wild weather could have been a contributing factor.
