JETTY Dive Centre has upped the ante for thrillseekers on the Coffs Coast.

The scuba dive company has introduced a new boat, which will create as much fun above the waves, as it will under the surface.

Using its new high-powered eco-boat, Wild Fin, the company has diversified into adventure tours around the Solitary Islands.

The 12-metre aluminium-hull, rigid inflatable is designed for fast and comfortable adventure boating.

Jetty Dive Centre owner operator Mike Davey said one-hour afternoon dolphin spotting trips are being run this summer.

The boat is also being used for morning dive and snorkel trips, while in winter it will offer whale watch tours.

“This boat is so much fun, combining an exciting ride with the chance to see dolphins and whales. It also gives people a chance to view the Solitary Islands Marine Park,” Mike said.

“We felt the need to diversify our business, with a downturn in tourists to Coffs Harbour, hoping that this will offer another adventure for them to stay another day in our area,” he said.
