BMX State of Origin

STATE of Origin, BMX-style, comes to town this Saturday and Sunday.

New South Wales and Queensland will renew their rivalry when Sawtell BMX Club host the annual State of Origin clash with the invaders from over the border.

Riders of all ages from north and south will converge on Sawtell to do battle, with plenty of action and a stack of cash and prizes on the line.

All levels of riders will take part, from four-year-old Sprocket Rocket class, up to Pro men and ladies, with aspirations of Olympic gold in the future.

After the NSW State titles, Sawtell riders are riding high after winning the lion's share of plates and they are especially keen to use their local knowledge on their home track this weekend.

Entry is free and all are welcome from 6pm Saturday and 9am Sunday morning.
