Bizarre way truckie's stolen 90k caravan was found

A TRUCK driver's retirement plans are back on track after his stolen caravan worth $90,000 was found by a real estate agent during a house inspection.

Neil Gauslaa said he was "ecstatic" when police called on Sunday to tell him it had been found.

The caravan, which went missing about a week ago from a Nerang storage yard, was spotted by a real estate agent who was conducting an inspection.

The caravan was located about 5km from where it was taken.

The Surfers Paradise resident was left guttered after the caravan went missing.

He will take it on a trip with his wife starting in December.
