Biking canine to join Charity Ride

THEY are an awesome combination and this Sunday Bundy and his human Tex will be front and centre of another charity ride.

The pair will be joining local bikers and unique car enthusiasts in the Coastal Riders group for their inaugural Winter Charity Ride in conjunction with LifeHouse Church's blanket drive.

"Winter is a time where a lot of families are struggling with the cold," said Coastal Riders member Sue Mills.

"We are asking the community to donate any towels, which are desperately required, blankets, doonas and non-perishable foods as well as cash donations.

Coastal Riders have in excess of 225 riders on their Facebook page and welcome any licensed riders with a registered bike.

"With so many members in our group, Tony Deane, who is the founder of Coastal Riders, thought it would be a great idea to start giving back to the community.

"Bundy is the only dog legally permitted to ride a motorcycle in NSW and has travelled more than 500,000 kilometres with owner, Tex O'Grady, raising money for Prostate Cancer."

The ride will start on Sunday, at 9:30am from the McDonald's south car park and end with a barbecue at LifeHouse Church on Orlando St.
