Bikie arrested on weapons and drugs charges

A NOMADS Motorcycle Gang member will appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court next month on drugs, weapons and stolen goods charges.

Coffs Clarence Police raided a Kings Ridge Forest Rd home at Coramba on Wednesday, June 3.

It's alleged a number of items were seized including; prohibited drugs, cash, ammunition, prohibited weapons and stolen property.

On Tuesday, a man aged 33, who police say its a member of the Nomads Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, attended Coffs Harbour Police Station and was arrested.

He was charged with supply prohibited drug, three counts of possess prohibited drug, possess prohibited weapon, possess ammunition and two counts of goods in custody.

The man was given conditional bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Monday, July 6.

Tuesday's arrest was made by investigators attached to Strike Force Nanowie, which was established to investigate a violent home invasion and robbery by four men at Wooli on October 13, 2014.

Three men have been arrested for the offence with investigators now focusing on identifying the fourth offender.

The investigation continues, police said.
