Bike storage strategies
STORING bikes is always a fascinating challenge.
Before the Kiltman and I met and married, my bicycle lived in my living room or during summer in my lockable front porch.
Living on your own means if you want your road / mountain bike in your main living room you can.
So when I moved in with my spannerman, he for some reason did not want my bike and all it's attendant gear cluttering up his formal lounge room (curious I know).
So he kindly cleared out the hall linen press and made it into an easily-accessible bike cupboard.
Now since then I have acquired another bike which is permanently attached to the trainer and space, shall we say, is at a premium.
Currently the bikes are in the sleep-out.
Between us we have four bicycles and I have become addicted to looking at hanging storage options for the velos.
Tell me how you store your bikes - garage, ceiling mount, wall hooks, shed or purpose built locker.
Cycling NSW is in dispute with Cycling Australia and the other state associations regarding the proposed One Cycling project.
Sport Australia has recently proposed that 16 State-based cycling entities that represent cycling, mountain biking and BMX and the corresponding three National Sporting Organisations are combined to form a new National Sporting Organisation.
Apparently it's to help CA fix its poor financial standing and performance and CNSW is not happy.
