Better homes coming to Coffs

COFFS Harbour will be the star of the show next week as our region hosts the entire crew of Better Homes and Gardens.

Locals are invited to come and take part in the filming at Bunnings Warehouse next Saturday and Sunday, as part of a five day shooting schedule on the Coffs Coast.

The award winning lifestyle show is one of the most watched series in Australia - last week attracting 1.2 million people.

The visit was pioneered by Coffs Coast Marketing, who recently brought other popular television shows including Sunrise, Merv Hughes Fishing and Sydney Weekender to the region.

Where you can see the crew

The best time to see the Better Homes and Gardens team will be at Bunnings Coffs Harbour on August 8 and 9.

The visit will encourage people to get out into the garden and to start enjoying the outdoors again this Spring.

Johanna, Jason and Adam will team up to build five great spring garden areas for your garden, all with sustainability in mind.

The garden themes will include: a serene chill-out garden, complete with a small shed haven, a children's garden, a water garden (which will feature an aquaponic system), a working garden, and a native garden.

The gardens will be set in the car park and people will be able to walk through them to touch, feel and experience them for themselves.

Karen and Ed will be cooking together for maximum crowd and maximum banter and will show you how to create an awesome Spring lunch.

Demi will give design and colour tips, how to's and help the audience with a communal art piece, and Tara will be onsite all weekend

Graham will be doing a local garden walk around the Coffs Harbour region, and will shows us the newest releases for your garden.

Dr Harry will be in-store on Saturday with everyone's favourite baby animals.
