Gourmet burgers and chips on new Rustic menu

THE Rustic Table has a new flavour.

This week the local cafe reopened its doors after a reinvention - they're now home to a mean burger and chips.

Owner Joe Fallon said it was time to make some changes within the cafe after opening Rustic Mezedes in Market St.

"We wanted to do something a little different and noticed there is a gap in the market for later night quick meals in Woolgoolga," Joe said.

The cafe - which Joe says will have a rename in coming weeks - is now a char grilled burger place, focusing on gourmet burgers with chunky hand cut chips.

"It's mainly takeaway style but there will be seating. We're going to be open until 8pm most nights."

The Rustic Table will be open from 9am for coffee and cake and from 11.30 daily for burgers. Rustic Mezedes will take over the role of the breakfast cafe.

"We'll still do coffee and cake from 9am here at The Rustic Table but for sit down breakfasts, we'll be doing that at Rustic Mezedes."
