Bellingen Show is in the frame

THE Bellingen Show is on this weekend and today is the last day amateur photographers can enter one of the many different categories in the show's photography section, which includes phone photos and a new Creative category.

There are several awards to be won, including special recognition with The Vince Lovell Award for images of historical Bellingen; The Anne MacGee Award for portraiture; and The Jack Meagher Award for Life Captured, as well as the Champion Print Award and the People's Choice Award.

It is easy to enter and satisfying to see people enjoying your photos.

If anyone would like further information, it is available on the website and for more details specifically about the photography section, contact Joy Bentley on 0419 910 057.

The Bellinger River Agricultural Show is a traditional country show that started in 1881 - and this year promises to be one of the best.

It takes in all the traditional events, exhibitions and competitions - together with great highlights like the internationally acclaimed Dennis Murphy and his Puppets; the Mongrel Dog Show; the Partner Carrying Competition; Chef Demonstrations; wonderful entertainment and a huge array of food to suit all tastes.

Contact Joy and enter something in the photography competition - or just come out to the Bello Showground and join in the fun on May 9 and 10.

All the details are available on the website http://www.bellingenshow.com.au or by contacting the show secretary by email or on 0419 124 368.
