Bellingen counts down to huge firework spectacular

BELLINGEN Lions Club will host a free fireworks display on Saturday, August 8, in a community event starting from 4.30pm.

More than $3000 worth of fireworks will light up the night sky - so bring the kids, grandparents, friends, neighbours, aunts and uncles along and have a great night of fun.

Rug up and don't forget your chair and blanket.

Glow sticks will be on sale, as well as delicious food and drink from the legendary Bello Lions Catering Crew.

Tickets will be sold in a monster raffle with heaps of great prizes on sale that will be drawn on the night.

"All monies raised will fund local organisations in our district - so please dig deep and support Bellingen Lions Club so they can continue to support you and your community," publicity office Wal Tyson said.

"A huge thank you to businesses and individuals who kindly donated the fantastic prizes, to local businesses for their continued support in sponsoring this Fireworks Spectacular and the Bellingen Showground Trust for the use of their facilities for the night."
