Bears on Emilee Cherry Cup rampage

JUST as Goondiwindi is dominating this season's Wagners Risdon Cup fixture season, Toowoomba Bears are wreaking similar havoc in the Emilee Cherry Cup.

Bears have raced to a commanding mid-season premiership lead on the back of an undefeated 2019 run.

The defending premiers have cleaned up in all of their 14 season matches to sit on 67 points - 15 clear of the Condamine Codettes.

The Dalby Wheatchix are next best on 48 points.

The Bears' season dominance is underlined in their for-and-against column.

They have racked up 363 points for, while conceding a miserly 30 against, at an average of just over two per game.

The competition continues on Saturday when Bears travel to Highfields Sports Complex where they meet Gatton, Condamine and USQ from 1pm.

Saturday's draw also includes matches at Dalby featuring the Wheatchix, Goondiwindi, Warwick, Rangers and St George from 10.15am.
